One Hungry creature

Wa... hungry me looking at the blog & drooling over wat u ate.... looks n sounds good leh.... yum yum... wish there's one big fluffy prata for me to chew on here..... *chomp chomp* maybe we can go out after the commencement ceremony n have one big feast... BUFFET anyone? any suggestions... but no NYDC for the moment... haha. the baked rice/pasta getting a bit too cheesy already. BTW, as i was telling MAOP, some of the stalls in engin canteen are changed (for the better or for the worst? i dunno cos haven't tried all yet).

About half of the old stalls gone.. those who went are:
- Dessert
- My fav cutlet --> Western stall
- the wanton noodles
- the cai4 fan1 stall in the middle (wif the good curry one)
- prawn mee/beehoon stall
- the 2 malay stalls

The new ones i tried are:
-Jap (the grilled eel on rice is quite good. Feel it's better than arts canteen)
- the new western (my cutlet was small!!!! I missed the old stall.... but think the hotplate thing looks quite good. but cutlet's not on hotplate)

So maybe can try try when u are free n in NUS..... hehe :)

Potential Job

Hmm, seems like these few days there's a bit more activity around here... haha.. then I can introduce a 'juicy' topic.

If you had been watching or following CSI on TV, one of the officer seems to be interested in this particular woman (again, if u watch O.C. then u can recall her as Melissa's mom).. her job is very interesting.. hehe...

Coincidentally, I saw this article on
"Inspirational Women".

Since we are going to look for a job soon, anyone wants to venture into this 'new' field? hehe

Online Sprees

hmm, since just now we were talking abt CNY clothes, I recalled that the Sunday Times ran an article about online sprees. The 2 places it listed was CozyCot.com & Flowerpod.org. Think it's quite interesting to buy clothes this way.. haha, cos the price is ard the same as we buy in Singapore. But reading the forums that organised the sprees, it looked rather confusing, cos need to go to the website to find the thing u want, than cal the $$ after conversion from USD then transfer and keep on checking the forum for updates. However think it's a good idea to get interesting clothes and also since the prices are ard the same, maybe can try out sometime.

Possible hangover cures

Specially dedicated to the jiu guis<酒鬼> in our gp (u can test them out n tell us if it works):

GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE! Ah, right. Forget it. SLEEP IN! Especially if your/your host's air conditioning unit puts you in igloo-bedroom conditions. Do get out of bed though, hopefully not too late in the afternoon. Too much sleep gets you nothing but a bigger headache.

HANGOVER BRUNCH - Buffet is the way to go. If you're a host, this is a good way to get by that awfully dreaded morning after where you really just wish you hadn't had the party at your home. Pile the plates, lay the food, "Everyone, help yourselves!".

WHAT'S FOR BRUNCH? Scrambed eggs for that protein boost. Warmed-in-the-oven flour tortillas with anything you'd like to roll in it. Actually, anything you can find to roll in it. Don't forget the sour cream and shredded cheese. On the other hand, whatever that's left over from dinner last night is really fine too. Pile what you want on a microwavable plate and microwave away! Don't forget the cranberry sauce and mustard to go with your turkey / ham.

REHYDRATE! All that alcohol in your system needs to be flushed out with lots of fluids and you need that boost of vitamin as well. Fruit juice sounds like the best choice, but caffeine addicts, what do you do? Make ice-blendeds, duh!
Ice-cream blended with a fruit juice or fresh fruits and milk all blended up; vanilla ice-cream with mango juice, chocolate ice cream with bananas, 1/2 cup espresso with chocolate/vanilla ice-cream and chocolate/caramel syrup. My favourite? Add mint to the coffee.
Yes, pound on those peppermint candy canes baby, and drop them in the blender together with the other stuff that's going into your drink. Guaranteed to perk you up.
For those who can't get by your days without tea, try and earl grey cooler. Steep the teabag for a good few minutes in boiling water just enough to cover the tea leaves in the teabag. Remove the teabag and pour in ice cold water. Add a scoop of French vanilla ice cream, sugar syrup to sweeten if you like.
Remember, whatever drink it is, as long as it's a cold beverage, serve immediately

NUS creepy places

The link leads to some of NUS Creepy places... Me had been to the first few places on top of the hill... really creepy. So dark inside the houses until no light enters.

Wishlist

:D maybe we can post our x'mas wishlist up on the blog, so we can buy stuff similar to, or in the line of the wished present for the exchange.

When did Ryan become Santa's helper? Hmm.. so is he the elf in tights or the Santarina in fur (but he better not be a member of PETA cos they "rather go naked then wear fur")? Or maybe he's one of the reindeer- the one wif a red nose?

x'mas present exchange

Just received the email frm Ryan abt who my present will given to... Quite a tough one to buy...

Anyway when and where we are going to exchange huh? Anyone wants to go shop for it together or we buy alone ourselves (so tat we can have fun guessing?)
